ERPion Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us through erpion.ai — written in plain language, not legalese.

Effective date: September 16, 2026 Applies to erpion.ai Canada — PIPEDA

ERPion (“ERPion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) develops enterprise resource planning software for manufacturing, distribution, and industrial businesses. We take the privacy of the people who visit our website seriously, and we have written this policy in plain language so that you can understand what information we collect through erpion.ai, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

This Privacy Policy applies to the ERPion website at erpion.ai and to enquiries you send us through it, including demo requests, contact forms, and email. It does not govern the data that our customers store inside the ERPion platform once they have a subscription — that information is handled under the separate agreement between ERPion and each customer, where the customer is the owner of its own business data and ERPion acts on the customer’s instructions.

By using erpion.ai, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Providing this information is voluntary. If you choose not to provide it, we may not be able to answer your enquiry or arrange a demonstration.

This log data may include your IP address, browser type and language, operating system and device type, the pages you viewed and the time of your visit, and the referring website or search term that brought you to us. We use this information to keep the site secure and running properly, and to understand in aggregate how visitors use it.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to make the website work, to remember your preferences, and to measure how the site is performing. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function. Others are set by analytics or marketing services and help us understand which pages and campaigns are useful.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Parts of the site may not function correctly if you disable them.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to those listed above without first obtaining your consent.

3How We Share Information

ERPion does not rent or sell personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties to host our website, deliver email, and provide analytics. They may process personal information on our behalf, and only in accordance with our instructions, this Privacy Policy, and appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
  • With your consent. We will share information for any other purpose when you have agreed to it.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information where we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, a subpoena, court order, or other lawful request from a government or law enforcement authority; to enforce our terms of use; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ERPion, our customers, or the public.

4Data Security

ERPion maintains appropriate physical, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect the information in our care against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include restricting access to personal information to employees and contractors who need it to do their jobs, and using encrypted connections for data transmitted through our website.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us using the details below.

5Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as required by law. Enquiry and contact records are generally retained for the duration of our business relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

6Your Privacy Rights

ERPion handles personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable privacy legislation. Subject to the limited exceptions set out in that legislation, you have the right to:

  • Ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request access to it
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Withdraw your consent to our use of your information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need
  • Unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within the timeframe required by law and may ask you to verify your identity before acting on your request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Our website contains links to third-party sites and social media pages, including our own profiles on platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Those services are operated independently and have their own privacy policies. ERPion is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any website we do not control, and we encourage you to read their policies before providing them with personal information.

ERPion sells business software and our website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province or territory of residence. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date at the top. Where the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.
